With its historical heritage and quality of life, the Village of Springville is one of the best-kept secrets in Western New York.

The Village is located in southern Erie County among the foothills of the Allegany Mountains and at the western end of beautiful Zoar Valley. Because it is also at the juncture of Routes 219 and 39, Springville is a short scenic drive to all the area’s cultural and athletic events. Excellent skiing, fishing, and hunting opportunities abound only minutes away. The Village itself is home to the Springville Center for the Arts as well as Springville Youth Incorporated both of which provide dozens of opportunities for the old and young.

Historically, Springville is the home of Glenn “Pop” Warner and the place where Novocain was invented. Its downtown contains many buildings that date back to the late 19th and early 20th century. In fact, downtown Springville has recently been included on the National Register of Historic Places.

Springville also enjoys some of the finest medical and educational services in WNY with 100 beds Bertrand Chaffee Hospital provides a vast array of professional services, and the Springville Griffith-Institute Central School District prepares the area’s young people for the future. Also, congregations of most religious faiths are located within the Village proper.

Community activities include the annual Springville Agriculture and Dairy Fest, the Springville/Kiwanis Pageant of Bands, and the Creative Visual Arts Festival at Springville.

In addition to all of this, the Village of Springville provides some of the lowest cost utility and tax rates found anywhere in western New York.

Combine all of this with some of the friendliest people anywhere in the country and you can see why Springville is such a beautiful place to live and work. I invite you to visit. You just might not want to leave.
