The incorporated Village of Springville offers several public services provided by the Department of Public Works and contract services. Springville's abundant supply of fresh water serves 1.650 customers linked to the village water system. Serviced by 3 wells and 2 water towers, the system is undergoing an extensive 4-year upgrade. When complete, the system will include new water mains throughout, an improved filtration system, and a third water tower. The DPW also operates and maintains a municipal sewage treatment facility. With a franchised electric district that services both the Village of Springville and portions of the Town of Concord, Springville Village Electric customers enjoy electric rates that are roughly one-fourth the rate of neighboring communities.
