Please take notice that a public hearing will be held by the Village of Springville Board of Trustees on Monday May 15, 2017 at 7:01 pm at 65 Franklin St in the Boardroom for the purpose of the required hearing per Chapter 77, Unsafe Buildings for the property located at 110 S. Central Ave.  

Monday May 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm. Please take notice that a public hearing will be held by the Village of Springville Board of Trustees for the purpose of proposed changes and review to Section 180-31 of the Code of the Village of Springville. The changes are as follows:

 

Local Law 5 of 2017 Amend Section 180-31 Schedule II

§ 180-31 currently reads:

§ 180-31Schedule II: Prohibited Turns at Intersections.

In accordance with the provisions of § 180-5, no person shall make a turn of the kind designated below at any of the following locations:

LEGAL NOTICE

APPLICATION FOR DEBT EXCLUSION

The Chief Fiscal Officer of the Village of Springville filed on February 6, 2017 in the Office of the State Comptroller an Application for the Exclusion of $1,755,000 Outstanding Indebtedness for Electric purposes pursuant to Section 123.00 of the Local Finance Law. This Application is on file as a public record in the Office of the Chief Fiscal Officer.

Sealed bids for mowing of tall grass on vacated properties and non-compliant property owners will be received at the Village Office until 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Village Office, 5 West Main Street, Springville, NY  14141-0017, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

Copies of the bid packages are available from the Village Office at no charge. If documents are requested to be mailed to bidders, a check in the amount of $5.00 will be required to be paid to the Village of Springville to cover mailing expenses. If mailing fees are not paid prior to the bid opening date, the respective bid will remain unopened and returned to the bidder as a rejected bid. No more than one set of bids will be given to any one bidder.
