How to Handle Yard Waste

New Recycling Collection Service Schedule    

Biweekly pickup for recyclable items will begin June 18, 2019. All recyclable items must be inside the newly provided recycling carts, including cardboard. For more information regarding:

           The Village of Springville contracts with Waste Management for our Residential Curbside Pickup.  The Village participates in a Sticker Program with Waste Management.  Stickers can be purchased at the Village Office, Crosby Mart, Springville Hardware and Tops.  The cost of the Sticker is $2.50/sticker.

Each bag of garbage or non-recyclable large item must have a full sticker attached to it.  The bag cannot weigh more than 50lbs. and it cannot be larger than a 33 gallon bag.

Pick up is scheduled for Tuesday starting at 6:00am. Exception: If there is a Waste Management Holiday on a Monday, Village pickup will not be until Wednesday. Example Memorial Day.

Erie County E-waste Collection Day

As a reminder: During normal pickup all garbage must be to the curb no later than 6:00 am Tuesday morning for your trash pick up. You can put your garbage out the night before if you wish. If it is not out by 6am and Waste Management collects the garbage on your street, they will not be returning to pick it up.

A FULL sticker must be on EACH bag. Bags with less than a full sticker or stickers on can handles will not be picked up. Bags must be no larger than a 33 gallon bag and weigh no more than 50lbs.
