LEGAL NOTICE-ADVERTISEMENT OF BID 

Please take notice that the Village of Springville, 5 West Main Street, Springville, NY, will receive sealed proposals for the demolition of the following property: 37 South Central Avenue, located in Springville, NY 14141 Detailed specifications may be obtained from the Village Administrator’s Office at the Springville Village Hall, 5 West Main Street, Springville NY 14141 during the hours of 8:00 am till 4:00pm. All sealed bids received will be publicly opened on Nov 5th at 11 am in the 1st floor conference room, 5 W. Main Street, Springville, NY 14141. The Village Board reserves the right to consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of the specification and contract documents, and may waive any informalities, make an award to other than the low bidder, or reject any or all bids should it be in the best interest of the Village. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing will be held on Monday October 19, 2020 in the Board/Court room at 65 Franklin St regarding the use of Federal Community Development funds in the Village of Springville.  The Village is eligible for a Federal Community Development Grant under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.

The purpose of the Hearing is to provide an opportunity for citizens to express community development and housing needs and to discuss possible projects which would benefit low and moderate income persons in the Village.  Citizens are urged to attend this meeting to make know their views and/or written proposals on the Village of Springville’s selection of potential projects to be submitted for possible funding by the Federal Community Development Grant Program.

The Hearing will present a review of prior Community Development projects and a discussion of eligible activities.  The meeting room is wheelchair accessible.  Those needing special arrangements should call the Village at 716-592-4936 x1000 by Oct 14th.
